A veteran of the Anchorage real estate market with 18 years as a top-selling agent and 26 years as a partner in the premier construction firm, Colony Builders, Taylor has the experience to make affordable choices look like much more.
Taylor began working with interiors when new homes were all white walls and beige carpeting and she remembers what it was like to be one of the first to introduce color into the local construction market. Her clients had been telling builders that they wanted living spaces to reflect their own personal style, so she created One of a Kind to give them the service they deserved. With over 300 beautiful home interiors to her credit, Taylor believes that the key to her company's success has been assembling a design team that helps clients realize their vision while keeping projects on time and within budget.
Taylor's team always produces work that the client is proud to show others. One of a Kind's interior design for Colony Builders has helped garner 14 Golden Hammer Awards from the Anchorage Home Builders Association during their annual "Parade of Homes." Taylor's success extends to her family as wife to local builder Bill Taylor for the past 23 years and as the proud mother of two active teenagers. She sees parallels between her successful business career and home life as she provides the resources and direction each needs to succeed and is there to make sure the end result of their work is something to be cherished for years to come.
